A Halifax man is dead after a three-vehicle collision in west-end Halifax late Tuesday afternoon.
The man, 40, who died was driving one of the vehicles and was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after 6:50 p.m., Halifax police said in a news release. They were called to the collision scene at the intersection of Connaught Avenue and Bayers Road at 5:43 p.m.
"It is too early know the cause of the collision, but, speed is believed to be a factor," the release said.
The investigation is ongoing and police were not releasing the victim's name pending notification of next of kin.
