NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — Pictou County Crushers forward Chase Ellis served a two-game suspension handed down by the Maritime Junior Hockey League last week.

The Whycocomagh product was suspended for charging during a game against the Summerside Western Capitals last Thursday.

Ellis served the suspension when the Crushers played the Valley Wildcats in a home-and-home series Friday and Saturday.

He will be eligible to return to the Pictou County lineup Thursday when the team travels to Fredericton to play the Red Wings.
